The best thing that is happening right now, is that you are here. You have found the time to look for a photographer to document the most precious event we will ever experience in our lives. Big statement. But true. I know from experience how quickly this tiny gurgling bundle becomes a laughing wriggling little human. The newborn images I have of my babies in my arms are my most precious, because those moments passed so quickly. That is what I want for you. To never forget that newness, the feeling of being inside that glorious baby bubble.

These sessions are quiet and slow. Your baby (or you) might need to feed, cry, change, or sleep during the session. That is completely perfect and the way we want things to go. I will be photographing a range of images that I guide you through, but the real moments that will naturally unfold can create the most beautiful candid images. 

You have all we need for this session in your home. A safe space that you have carefully put together awaiting your baby’s arrival. That’s where I want to photograph you. This is the space I want you to remember, it is where your next chapter starts. I don’t need much room, just a bed, a window and I’ll have all I need. I definitely don’t need the house to be clean, the dishes to be done, or the mountain of washing to be folded. My cameras never point in that direction.

You will need allow up to 2 hours for the photography session. We then meet the following week so you can see everything we captured. This is an online appointment and I will help you plan exactly what you want to do next. Storyboards and albums are a popular choice from here.
