We’ll plan this together, a collaboration between you and I, that is what leads us to capturing the true magic that is your family. This experience is completely custom, it has to be, because what we want at the end of our time together, is artworks on your walls that tell your unique story.
I want to document you. Each little connection within your family. Those babies of yours, the way they feel, the way they smell, the way they sound. I want you to sit on the edge of your bed when you are 97 years old, look up at one of these artworks and be taken back through the decades to a time and a feeling that would have been otherwise forgotten, lost in the speed at which we live our lives.
Your photography session can be anywhere that you feel is relevant to your family, a place that helps to tell your story. This might be in your home, or outdoors. I have some really beautiful places I can recommend that have been chosen because they give us a range of backdrops, perfect light, and are often really quiet. We go on an adventure, we play games, we laugh. You will need to allow about an hour for this part of the process. My sessions are about pausing time and being utterly present with your family. If you can give me that, I can give you treasures like these.
The following week we meet again and I will show you all of the images. From there you choose the artworks for your walls. These are all printed on cotton paper and custom framed in natural timber, an exquisite artwork for your wall.
